Baby Predictor … What Gender Baby Will I Have?

418543 1084 Baby Predictor ResourcesIf you’re expecting a baby, or planning to get pregnant, then you have probably wondered more than once whether there is an accurate baby predictor method that can tell you the gender of your baby!

The answer is "yes," some baby predictor techniques can be useful. But the answer deserves a bit more explanation.

Baby Predictor Methods

There are many baby predictor methods. Many people swear by their favorites. But there is only one truly accurate method for learning a baby’s gender – a medical test known as amniocentesis or chorionic villus sampling. And doctors typically will not approve such invasive procedures simply to act as a baby predictor.

Sonograms can also show a baby’s gender – but accuracy is iffy. And they’re not even possible until almost half way through a pregnancy (16-20 weeks).

So what if you want to know sooner? While the accuracy of the baby predictor methods described on this website are not guaranteed, many people believe in them – so give them a try and see if they work for you.

Typically there are two different scenarios – parents ready to conceive who want to increase their odds of having either a boy or a girl, and those already expecting who want to plan ahead!

Using a Baby Predictor to Plan Your Baby’s Gender Before You’re Pregnant

Want a rough ‘n tumble little boy, or a sweet baby girl? Some parents have a strong preference. And fortunately, there are a number of baby predictor methods that allow you to choose your baby’s gender!

The Chinese Gender Calendar is a well known baby predictor that has been around for many centuries. Fans of the ancient technique claim it can provide better than 90% accuracy when used properly. You can learn more about the Chinese Gender Calendar and how to use it in this article.

Some claim that the proper diet, choosing the best time for conception and even the position the couple uses during intercourse can work as baby predictor techniques.

Diet as a Baby Predictor

Believe it or not, different chromosomes prefer different environments. Y-chromosomes prefer alkaline and X-chromosomes like acidic. So if you’re looking for a boy, several weeks before you start trying to conceive, start eating a diet rich in potassium and sodium. For a girl, choose foods high in calcium and magnesium.

Timing Conception

For a girl, plan to have intercourse 2 to 3 days prior to the day you are scheduled to ovulate. For a boy, some say the day before or on the day ovulation begins, and then again during the day after ovulation is over.

Sexual Position

Sexual position as a baby predictor? Many believe it’s true! For a boy, choose a position that allows deep penetration. (Male sperm are faster moving, so depositing them deeper puts them at the front of the race.) For agirl, shallow penetration is suggested (since the area just inside the vagina is more acidic, and therefore more conducive to conceiving a girl.) There is even some evidence to suggest that whether or not a woman achieves orgasm can have an impact on baby gender: for a boy, yes; for a girl, no.

Again, while none of these baby predictor techniques guarantees results, they may help increase your chances!
